Łukasz Szczepaniak
Lukasz has worked on international legal projects in the banking, insurance, and financial services sectors in CEE countries for the past 20 years.
Lukasz counseled financial institutions entering the Central and Eastern European market on corporate, regulatory, and distribution issues. He has extensive experience in the establishment of financial institution operations in Poland, Czechia, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. He also advised on cross-border freedom of services operations in CEE, as well as filing applications with regulators for cross-border license extensions and portfolio transfers. Lukasz is a qualified attorney in Poland. He graduated from Warsaw University's Faculty of Law and Administration, the University of Florida’s Frederic G. Levin College of Law in the United States - Center for American Law Studies and Cambridge University's British and European Law Center. He wrote his Ph.D. thesis on cross-border operations of financial institutions.
Anna Szczepaniak
Anna is a lawyer with 20 years of experience in Polish and international law firms, where she worked on large project finance deals and drafted legal documents allowing Poland to join the Schengen area.
Anna holds degrees from the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Law and Administration as well as the University of Florida's Frederic G. Levin College of Law in the United States - Center for American Law Studies. Anna led the legal advisory practice for a number of international corporations and capital groups in a variety of industries. Telecommunications companies, aircraft companies, construction companies, e-commerce businesses, and cross-border real estate investment funds are among them. She focuses on commercial, civil, and real estate law. Anna has also successfully introduced international businesses from both the EU and non-EU countries to the Polish market.
Jacek Kaczka
Jacek holds the professional title of a statutory auditor. He was a key statutory auditor in dozens of audits of financial statements i.a. companies from the development industry, investment real estate, sales services, law firms and one of the largest embassies in Poland.
Since 2010 Jacek was the President of the Management Board of two audit firms. He has significant training experience, as a lecturer at several renowned Polish universities (including: University of Warsaw, Kozminski University in Warsaw). He conducted trainings i.a. for tax advisors, financial analysts in banks and insurance companies, or statutory auditors (for the Association of Accountants in Poland, the National Chamber of Statutory Auditors, the Mazovian Chamber of Tax Advisors).
